When you’re apart from someone you love, it’s really hard to just go on living your “real life” because your entire life feels like it’s on hold until the distance is no longer there. With Distance, we’ll try to remind you that your real life is what you’re living today, even if you’re far apart from your favorite person. This song will help shore up your determination to hang in there by reminding you of three truths:
1. Long distance relationships sometimes are difficult but it would be easy if you do it with the right person.
2. Other people might call you crazy for doing this.
3. Your love is worth it!
This track is telling the other story from one of our fictional character on our previous EP “Unpleasant Feelings”.
lyrics
Day by day
I choose to stay
When loneliness crawls in a dreadful way
Let’s draw the line
We will define
Across the map over seas and state lines
We’ll be fine
I touch the place where i could find your face
So leave me with a trace
I’ve framed this fear
As you weren’t here
I’ll build my own personal chronosphere
So i could feel the time when you’re around
Then i could bravely face the fear alone without a sound
We’ll be fine
And miles from where you lay your head
I’ll stay here in my restless bed
Captured every frame with you instead
I’m feeling lonely recently
It’s hard to face it decently
Should we meet up here frequently?
I touch the place where i could find your face
So leave me with a trace
